The halal food scene is exploding in the US – we’re talking $668.7 billion in 2024, and it’s on track to hit a massive $1.5 trillion by 2033! People can’t get enough of it, with “halal” landing in Yelp’s top 10 food searches last year. What’s really interesting is that 40-60% of customers at halal spots come from culturally diverse backgrounds – this food is winning over everyone across different communities. And businesses are seeing the benefits too – halal-certified restaurants get a 25-30% performance boost on delivery apps compared to their competitors. The numbers don’t lie – halal has graduated from niche to mainstream, and it’;s becoming a serious player in America’s food market with massive growth potential.
